Trauma-Informed Healing Arts
Land Acknowledgement
Beyond Practices honors the sovereignty of all First Nations Indigenous peoples, their lands, and their waters. We recognize that these boundaries and territories are representations of the sacred. We honor the enduring stewardship, wisdom, and resilience of these communities in the face of centuries of colonization marked by genocide and the forceful theft of their lands and waters.
Beyond Practices inhabits lands and uses waters rightfully belonging to the Timpanogos, Núu-agha-tuvu-pu (Ute), Goshute, Nuwuvi (Paiute), and Newe Sogobia (Shoshone). We encourage you to connect directly with the Indigenous nations to learn more about their territories and histories.
This is an honouring of Indigenous resilience past, present, and future.
We are committed to fostering sacred, reverent, and humble relationships with traditions, practices, and ancestral knowledge preserved for the healing of our world. In solemn reflection, we confront this painful history and work together for a more just and sustainable future.
In this spirit, all proceeds will be donated to Indigenous communities, local mutual aid funds, and partnering organizations dedicated to restoring ecosystems and supporting Indigenous communities. Together, we serve to give back to the land, waters, and its caretakers, paving the way for renewal and harmony.
What We Do
At Beyond Practices, we provide a trauma-informed space to assist in the body’s ability to heal, grow, and transform. Our offerings support integration through the art of therapeutic massage, comfort touch, and ceremonial offerings through a spectrum of ancient holistic healing modalities to support the mind, body, and spirit.
Our practitioners facilitate energetic therapies, plant medicines, and personalized integration services. Together, we co-create experiences and exploration to meet you on your unique wellness journey. Honoring the connection of all, we assist and serve with traditional healing practices derived from aboriginal ancestry in ceremonial offerings.
Our story is to serve others along their awakening journey of welcoming their soul back to their body. We practice this ceremonial work with the reverence it demands and deserves, living in reciprocal relation to the origins of healing art traditions.
