FAQs

  • Please arrive 30 minutes before your first appointment. This extra time allows you to complete the necessary medical release paperwork and have an in-depth conversation about your goals, intentions, and specific needs with your therapist. This helps us tailor your session to ensure your health and wellness needs are heard.

We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing to fully relax during your session.

    Hydrate! Hydrate! Hydrate!

Hydrating well for at least 24 hours before your treatment is important. Proper hydration helps prepare your body for the benefits of massage and supports the process of filtering out toxins.

    Hydration Recommendations:

    -water

    -vegetables

    -fruit

    -electrolytes

  • Check out our Offerings page to read up on what our practitioners specialize in. Still not sure? Reach out to us with questions.

We can assist you in finding the right service for your needs and goals, and we love taking a collaborative approach to every session. Even if that means referring you out to another practitioner! Let’s work together to create a care regimen that feels right just for you.

  • Tell us! Let us know throughout any part of the session if you experience discomfort. We can co-create a comfortable experience together.

  • Massage Therapy can be looked at through a lens of the physical body, focusing on the muscles and other tangible systems like the lymphatic or circulatory system.

Bodywork is a holistic way of working with and honoring all of the bodies, not just the physical.

  • Bodywork and Massage is tailored to suit personal health needs, preferences, and circumstances. However, contraindications must be addressed with your therapist before continuing treatment.

If you are experiencing an acute illness, we recommend postponing your session until you are feeling better. For acute injuries, please disclose them with your therapist in advance so we can determine the best course of action together.

In some cases, a medical release/doctors note may be required before receiving treatment. Conditions that might require prior approval include cancer treatment, chronic illness, skin conditions, or other significant health concerns.

Your health and well-being are our top priorities, and we are committed to providing care that meets your unique needs.
