Eternity’s Bio
If you find yourself on this page, Welcome! It’s lovely to have you. A few things that my family and friends may say about me are that I am kind, considerate, and unconventional. I can also be distant, messy, and irreverent. I accept that which others see in me, as I am a reflection of divine beauty: wholly, whole, and holy.
I named Beyond Practices to remind me of the offerings that I and other practitioners provide, are practices to bring us to-and-from the beyond. I believe practicing offerings, giving and receiving, are best to support and sustain mind-body-soul integration. My goal is to serve the sacred by honoring the spiritual nature inherent in everyBODY.
About Me
While I may recommend various health and wellness practices, I am most known, licensed, and certified in modalities like bodywork, trauma-informed accessible yoga, sound therapy, and spiritual & astrological counseling. I believe none of these practices ‘fix’ anything; rather, they support the overall practice of inviting sensitivity into the ‘bodies’ needs.
An ethical mention is that the client and practitioner exchange will not always energetically match. If you find yourself here already and know we are not a match, or if you know after one or several sessions together that we are not, I encourage you to mention it so we can find you a few referrals. I know two to three dozen practitioners I strongly recommend, providing similar yet unique offerings attuned to their energetic gifts & practices. Reach out for more resources. We hope to have a page of practitioners up soon.
Everyone deserves to have a care team they fully trust and feel confident in.
Lastly, I feel, see, and know that our paths were meant to cross, in whatever capacity, for whatever reasons, And I’m grateful for you. I believe I am you, searching for something. A remembrance of sorts. What the remembrance is… well, that's the journey ain’t it?
Practices
Massage Therapy
I am a licensed massage therapist (LMT) in the state of Utah completing 900 hours at Healing Mountain Massage School. My focus and passion in the academia world of terms are in Craniosacral (Barral-Upledger & Daniel Fischer led), Visceral Manipulation (Barral & Lorrie Harper Led), and fascial release (Jessica Derrick & Wendy Edwards Led). I am experienced in several additional areas, and I will employ the best techniques and tools based on your individual assessment, reassessing as needed.
Craniosacral is a gentle, light touch, fully clothed modality that focuses on the optimization of the Cerebral Spinal Fluid (CSF) in the Central Nervous System (CNS). This therapy works by regulating the CNS, supporting fascia release, and enhancing the natural rhythm of the CNS. Someone who might benefit from Craniosacral is for someone experiencing chronic pain, PTSD symptoms, injury, birth givers, parents, children, etc. Craniosacral Therapy is suitable for people of all ages, including babies and the elderly. It's often used as a complement to other forms of treatment.
Visceral Manipulation is a specialized form of bodywork that focuses on the gentle mobilization of the internal organs (viscera) to improve their function and overall well-being. This therapy works by releasing tension, restoring movement, and enhancing the natural rhythm of organs within the body, trained by Barral Institute. I practice with organs like the heart, diaphragm, stomach, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, small intestine, & large intestine.
Fascia Release is a light touch modality that releases fascial restrictions caused by known or unknown injury. Restrictions can cause hypoxic injuries (a 2nd injury occurring from the 1st injury), cross-body compensation patterns, gastrointestinal conditions, and more. When a fascial restriction releases, some things to expect could be lightness of breath, a more open heart, enhanced mood, sadness, grief, anger, shame, guilt, forgiveness, gratitude, love, joy, laughter, tears, etc.
WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE HUMAN BODY IS CAPABLE OF!
Yoga
I have completed 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training with the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Guided, led, and taught by Monique Schubert, Cristie Newhart, Sam Chase, Sachi Taussig, Chris Holmes, Pilin Anice, Liza Bertini, Nikkie Herman, and several others. From participating in group Active Listening & Conscious Communication practices, group vocal expression, and discussions returning us to the origins of yoga, I integrate something daily that I learned with my cohort at Kripalu. My roots awakened, and my outward physical expressions in life truly and tangibly began to change. It was here that I practiced tending to my roots in the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. I guide safe, accessible yoga and meditations by inviting awareness in the spaces around and inside us, beginning with Muladhara - Root Work and leading with Anahata - Heart.
Sound Practitioner
Sensitivity is the name of the game, and appealing to the sense of audible noise is a practice that I tune in to every day. The noises around me and the music I listen to affect my health and wellness. I like working with sound as one way to calm my nervous system.
Some ancient sound healing tools include flutes made out of bones, animal products repurposed into drums, and vocal toning.
To honor this, I like to play crystal sound bowls, tuning forks, drums, rattles, toning, and more.
Spiritual & Astrological Counseling
I have been studying Western religion since 1995, Eastern religion since 2000, Western astrology since 2018, and Draconic & Vedic astrology since 2022. My entire life has been enriched with spiritual influences from Jesus Christ, the Buddha, Mother Theresa, Mary Magdalene, Isis- Goddess of Ancient Egypt, Hathor, Heckate, T-BC; Saturn in Pisces in 12th House & D-BC; Chiron, Pallas, and Vesta in Pisces in 12th House, Mother Earth; The Great Salt Lake, etc., etc. Calling upon guiding texts like the Bible, The Vedas, The Four Agreements, Letting Go, The Power of Now, PolySecure, The Artists Way, Lake Words Vol i & ii, Medical Medium, Local Green-Witch Doctor writings, Cultural Diversity in Health and Illness, The Brene Brown Collections, The Happiest Baby & Toddler on the Block, Ancestry Journals, and more.
Integration
I am pursuing a Pre-Med - Bachelor of Science Program in Integrative Health through Arizona State University with a 3.96 GPA. While I may not have all the Western requisites for justifying my worth or my work, I pursue it anyway. My life experience and continuous studies are what I believe make me valuable to work with. I do not have the answers, and I never will, but let us find our way together.
Integrating practices that enhance sustainable and achievable wellness is my passion. I love to share in these spaces with others and be in community with those sharing a similar pursuit.
