Life within a physical body is a profoundly sacred experience. EVERY BODY is inherently perfect in its simple existence, regardless of abilities, limitations, gender, race, or sexual orientation. The body is the sacred vessel through which the soul engages with the physical world. It is a divine journey that requires nurturing, care, mindfulness, and healing. Along this journey, we often encounter challenges that leave us with deep wounds, ailments, and traumas. These ailments often manifest physically but are the result of mental, emotional, and spiritual blockages. When we lack the tools to process these experiences, our bodies hold onto them, creating barriers to our happiness, health, and well-being.
My Approach
I practice a holistic and adaptable approach to bodywork, focusing on the deeper roots of physical pain. which are often tied to emotional and spiritual bodies. Trauma is stored in a way that weaves through our entire consciousness system. Rather than taking an aggressive and forceful approach to address these concerns, I rely on gentle and intuitive touch through techniques such as craniosacral, myofascial release, and sound therapy. These techniques help guide the body into a deeply relaxed state, where true healing and trauma unwinding can happen naturally.
Trust
I am a strong advocate for informed consent, prioritizing open communication and education to foster a collaborative relationship with my clients. As a practitioner, I maintain clear professional boundaries while empowering my clients to establish their own. True healing occurs in an environment where vulnerability is embraced, and I am committed to creating a space that is comfortable, accommodating, and safe for all individuals.
Special Needs
I recognize the profound need for safe, compassionate touch, particularly within the autism and special needs communities. Many individuals with autism, child and adult alike, experience heightened sensory sensitivities and challenges with nervous system regulation, making intentional, gentle bodywork an invaluable tool for establishing a connection between the mind and the body. Safe touch can also support emotional stability, help manage anxiety, and promote mood regulation. Through my ongoing research and future work, I aim to expand access to therapeutic touch for this underserved community, advocating for its integration into holistic health care. By creating a safe and supportive space, I strive to provide bodywork as a valuable resource for individuals with autism and their caregivers.
